 The Forgetful Pirate

 

A pirate walked into a bar with a huge parrot on his shoulder. The bartender asked, “Where’d you get that bird?”

 

The pirate replied, “I don’t remember!”

“Why not?”

“Because I lost me memory in a big sea battle.”
“Well, that’s sad. But you have the parrot—he must remember everything!”

 

The parrot squawked, “I don’t remember either!”
The pirate frowned, “Great! Now we’re both forgetful!”
